Tonya Rooks, CEO and Founder of Home to Home
As the visionary founder of Home to Home, I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families transitioning out of shelters. With a passion for creating supportive environments, I have embarked on a mission to provide quality furniture free of charge, turning houses into homes.
Our history
Since July 2023, Home to Home has transformed a number of families’ lives by providing essential furniture pieces. Each chair, table, and bed we provide presents a step towards stability and a brighter future for those overcoming adversity. Working as a case manager the founder of Home to home was inspired to change the way families transitioned from shelters into empty house by ensuring they had access to essential furniture to create a sustainable home environment.
Our Mission and Vision
Our mission to provide furniture for families coming out of shelters, victims of domestic violence looking to start over, as well as men and women reentering society from incarceration.
Our vision is to give individuals and their families a new start by gifting them used furniture that will help them create a home environment filled with stability, dignity, and belonging.
